I just finished the first draft of the the third installment in the mystery/thriller series, entitled SPECTER. It's a novella, weighing in at about 29,000 words. This was my Sabbatical project, and I plan to self-publish it this summer. Selena De La Cruz is back. This time it's personal.

I'll be a panelist at the Midwest Mystery Showcase in Waukesha WI in April. Many writers from the region are coming to talk about the craft and the biz.

Near 7,000 words on the draft of the 'Viper' sequel. It's slower going than I thought it might. Blending a story with a true-life crime is proving more challenging than I expected.
