After a few revisions, this is what the publisher has landed on for the cover art - for the time being. We needed something quickly for an August trade show. I doubt it will change much.
Very striking, John! Obviously related to Bleeder--that's important. A very contemporary look yet the ancient connection to the Virgin and the snake. Makes me want to read it!
A former producer at Wisconsin Public Radio with an MA in Media (Columbia U) and an MA in Writing/English (Illinois State), John teaches journalism and English at Kishwaukee College. A member of The Academy of American Poets and Mystery Writers of America, he's listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers and Who's Who in Entertainment.

I like this cover! I especially like the tie-in to OLG and having the woman looking at Mary rather than the Serpent for guidance.
Can't wait to read it!

Thanks, Mary and Donna. You can read the first two chapters on my blog, in a slightly earlier posting than this cover post.
